Family Law

Initial Consultation

If you decide on the “classical” legal approach, I would first ask you to describe your situation to me and would ask you questions in order to get an initial understanding of your case. To the extent possible, I would give you a first assessment as to the merits of your case at this time (initial assessment). After that I would normally ask you to provide me with additional information, which I would then review, and speak with you again about the situation. It is only at this point in time that you would decide whether or not you would like me to represent you further in this matter and how we should continue to proceed.
