Family Law

Your Choice: Legal Dispute or Mediation?

If you contact me about a family law matter, I will always discuss with you at first what approach would seem to have the best prospects of success in your case and what approach you would like to take – a legal dispute based upon the rules of law and with the involvement of lawyers or an out-of-court mediation. My role would be based on the ultimate course you choose.

For legal reasons, I will not be able to switch roles after you have made that choice. As soon as I have advised you in my capacity as a lawyer, I cannot act as a mediator in that same matter anymore. And, vice versa, I would be prevented from advising or representing you as a lawyer after having acted as a mediator in your case.
