Mediation

Costs
The costs for a mediation session are charged on an hourly basis, the amount of which will be based on the number of participants and the scope and difficulty of the particular case, as well as on whether it was necessary to involve a co-mediator. Hourly rates will also be used as a basis to charge for additional work such as the drafting of session protocols and memoranda to the extent the parties request it. I will let you know what my hourly rates are when you contact me.
In addition, there are costs associated with hiring your own legal counsel as well as costs associated with the notarization of the final agreement, if applicable.
Unfortunately, there are currently no public subsidies to cover the costs of mediation. Sometimes, these costs are covered by insurance policies covering legal costs. I will gladly find out for you whether your insurance policy covers such costs.
