Mediation

How Long Does a Mediation Process Last?

The duration of a mediation process depends, on the one hand, upon the amount and the difficulty of the issues at stake and, on the other hand, upon the willingness and ability of the parties involved to relate to each other and to work together toward a solution. Normally, a mediation process takes between four and ten sessions. A session usually lasts 60 to 120 minutes.
